The 9th Meeting of Judicial Appointments Commission for year 2024 was held on 14th November 2024 at Hilton Hotel, Kuching, Sarawak.

The meeting began with the Statistics Presentation of the Sarawak High Court by The Honourable Justice Dean Wayne Daly, High Court Judge of Miri, Sarawak, and the Statistics Presentation of the Sarawak State Subordinate Court by YBrs. Tuan Steve Ritikos, Director of the Sarawak Court.

In the afternoon, Members of the Commission were brought to the Borneo Cultures Museum for a working visit led by the Right Honourable Tun Tengku Maimun binti Tuan Mat, Chief Justice of Federal Court, Malaysia. This visit aimed to give more in-depth exposure to the members of the commission about the culture, history and traditions of life in the state of Sarawak.
