The applicant must comply with the following conditions: 

1. A Malaysian citizen;
2. Within 10 years prior to his appointment as Judicial Commissioner, he has been an advocate of the Federal Court, the Court of Appeal and, the High Court or any one of those courts or has been a member of the Federal judicial and legal service or the legal service of a state, or at one time was an advocate and at another time served as a member of the Federal judicial and legal service or the legal service of a State;
3. Applications for the position of Judicial Commissioner can be applied via ejc.jac.gov.my system; and
